Here is the Minwax pickling stain I used.

 White!

Neck pickup area wouldn't take the stain dunno if sealer is still there or what gonna sand it more once this dries.

Looks like it may do what I want but may be too white and not translucent enough. I am looking for a whitewashed fence look, but I may have to sand here and there and have wood show through more than I wanted in spots and give it a "distressed and used" look, which would be cool but not exactly what I was going for.
