I first discovered Dave Weiner around 2008 while watching Steve Vai's Live at the Astoria video for the first time. I found his Riff Of The Week™ YouTube Vlog and have been a fan and student of his playing ever since.
I recommend checking out my favorite video series from him on the modes to get a feel for his playing and teaching style.
